Sample Introduction
Life is Fair....
As a child, my understanding of the world around me was simple: my family + my friends = my universe. My concept of events that happened beyond those mental walls just didn't exist. However, as I grew up, I became exposed to the harsh realities of life as we all are during the teen years and our journey to adulthood. Things were no longer evaluated simply as good or bad, but with shades of gray and many facets of life taking part. Being a teacher and a parent, I so often hear the words, "That's not fair!", a phrase which many want to respond with, "That's life...deal with it!" But is that truly how life is? Unfair? Throughout all of my ups and downs in life within my mental walls, life and all of its hardships is fair because life is unique to each and every one of us.
